The busiest shopping center in Mauritius, Bagatelle Mall, chooses to evolve with the times: a new dining area, an entirely new playground for children, unique brands, and a reimagined customer experience.

While a new competitor decides to position itself as the largest shopping center, boasting the most advanced gaming arcade in the Indian Ocean, Bagatelle Mall chooses to counter with an unexpected approach.

Solution

After 10 years of existence, visitors know Bagatelle Mall like the back of their hand. They navigate it easily, which is not always the case 
in other shopping centers, especially with its competitor. This gave rise to the new positioning "On s'y Retrouve".

 

Rather than following the same path as their competitors by creating gaming arcades or expanding their building, Bagatelle chooses to adopt a completely different strategy… by centralizing around human and nature.

  1. Children find their place there: Kids step away from their screens and enjoy more outdoor activities.

     

  2. Nature finds its place there: The mall decides to open up its dining space to let nature flourish, creating a pure atmosphere where the sun and bird songs create a natural harmony.

     

  3. Stores find their place there: The first shopping center to put a local artisan and an international brand on the same scale.
    In short, at Bagatelle, On s'y Retrouve.
